Counterfeit Kit & Double Take Halloween Mashup

October is a busy month for me and I've found I need to be efficient with my crafting time. That is how this layout came to be. It is a complete Halloween mashup of using my Counterfeit Kit and also leveraging a fabulous sketch from the Double Take class I'm enjoying over at Big Picture Classes. I had the best time puling this together. It gave me the chance to use lots of the bright patterned paper in my kit. In fact, 10 different papers were used for this layout. As I mentioned, there are no Halloween photos in my stash, so this won't get filled in until next month, but it is all set to go. Bring on the pumpkins and trick or treaters!

  1. 10 papers? wow that is really great and such a wonderful layout ready to go when you have the photos. I love that background paper and it reminds me of some I have with a brown background. this is a super fun layout and I really like the hint of green in there!

  2. Your layout is awesome!! There are some elements that really catch my eye...then mini bingo card, the ticket border and the folded flower beneath your cat.

  4. You are super prepared for Halloween - I have never ever made a page in advance (which may be why I am scrapping photos so long after the event) - but this will make a superb record of Halloween 2011

  7. I like the idea of making some pages ahead of time if you don't have pictures. I have tons of pictures, so I have no need to do this. Cute layout and it will be even cuter when you add pictures.
