I've also done a special add-on this month. This week there was a post on Scrapbook Update about wrapping up 2011 and finishing those unfinished projects that continue to haunt us. Operation Clean Slate. As I thought about my kit, I realized that I have several unfinished class projects from the Creating Keepsakes Convention I went to in May. Yes, May. One project in particular - the Studio Calico Terrific Trends - stood out as something I need to complete. The colors really played off the solid card stock in my Counterfeit Kit and I thought it would be a fun enhancement.
Appreciate you stopping by and hope you have a fabulous, crafty weekend!
Your kit looks great - I like your strawberries instead of apples. And good for you for embracing Operation Clean Slate - I'm still trying to decide what to finish and what to let go.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the kit - I think I need that stamp set! I love the idea of finishing off old projects.
ReplyDeleteI love your kits-so close to the original, very pretty! Love the addition of the stamps!
ReplyDeleteI really like your kit - that bright spotty paper is gorgeous and as for Operation Clean Slate - what a great idea! I have to say that I don't have so many half finished stuff lying around but there are a few classes where the assignments are missing or ideas that I never got round to turning into reality that you have my brain working!
ReplyDeleteOooooh, I love your add-on kit! Although purple is my favorite color, green has always run a close second! I am definitely checking out your link to operation clean slate. I'm think a good project when I hit my January slump!
ReplyDeleteHow funny...I just finished my Terrific Trends layout from the convention I went to in August. I did a bit of modification as I'm a one-page girl...can't wait to see how your's comes out!
