February Counterfeit Kit Challenge

I am off to a bit of a late start this month. Life has been really hectic (in a good way!). I feel like this always happens in February. It is my birthday month and we have two great trips planned so I'm accepting that things will be s.l.o.w on the blog front.

This month the Counterfeit Kit Challenge offered two fabulous kits from Scrapbook Circle. I am big into holidays so whenever there is a holiday themed kit I usually go that route. Plus, February is my favorite month so how could I not pick the Valentine's Day kit. Here is a picture of some paper original kit:

I have to tell you that I kept it super simple this month. I went with one of the smallest kits I've ever created. But I was trying to be realistic about what I think I can do.

Here is a picture of my kit:

  1. I understand...I haven't even put a kit together this month as I wasn't certain i would get anything done. I have been on a flower making spree instead(from one of the tutorials on here, of course).

  2. I'll be back to see what you come up with this realistic size kit... Great idea by the way...less pressure

  3. Small and beautiful - it still looks like you have plenty to work with :) Some of those ribbons look very familiar to me also!

  5. I did a small kit too, and was glad since I used most of it up right away. I figure I can always spend the rest of the month using odds and ends. Your stamp set looks like lots of fun. Hope you are able to use your kit up too.

  6. I like your kitalot. It is really focused. My January kits were small too. This month's kit is HUGE by my standards. It will be interesting to see what I can do with it.
